Rocky Mountain Patio
This project showcases Compass’s ability to adapt to working within a more conventional landscape. While our focus is usually on prairie gardens without rocks or landscaping fabric, this project offered some fun ways to utilize native plants in the landscape. The client loved Colorado and wanted to bring a feeling of being in the Rockies to their backyard. Dry prairie species with small stature and silvery blue foliage were used to bring that rough, dry feeling of the mountains to the landscape. Hardscaping was done by Landmatters, which served as an amazing medium for the planting.
